Introducing the biggest advance in magazine technology since they started putting bullets in them
One of the latest MagCount prototypes was taken to the range this past week and video of the outing has been made available exclusively on this website. Take a look at the patent pending technology that measures how many bullets you have hundreds of times a second. No other weapons system can give you as much information about your ammunition capacity as MagCount.
Know your weapon. Know your ammo. MagCount.
MagCount, LLC is proud to present an electronic ammunition counting technology that doesn’t require any changes to the functioning of your weapon or ammunition loading. Unlike other solutions, MagCount does not cause ammunition to jam or interfere with loading or stripping the bullets.
This is MagCount’s most radical improvement over other technologies. For instance, there is a magazine-replacement system that mechanically tracks the follower in ARs, but the intrusion of this device up and down the magazine interior has the potential to cause jams and problems loading bullets into the receiver.
How does MagCount technology work? With a combination of fuzzy logic and sensors, it measures how many bullets you have – hundreds of times a second. When there is a change, a tiny computer display tells you how many bullets you have left and warns you if you’re down to just a few.
In short, MagCount makes you a smarter shooter.

Introducing MagCount, the biggest advance in magazine technology since they started putting bullets in them.
MagCount is a revolutionary new technology for magazine-fed weapons such as handguns, shotguns and assault rifles. This new invention displays the number of live rounds in the magazine in real time – and can warn the user when there are just a few rounds left.
Whether soldier, police officer or self-defense shooter, everyone using a firearm has an urgent need to track their ammunition, an advantage that can make a life or death difference in action. MagCount aims to offer the modern shooter the best possible information about his status in the field. MagCount technology measures the current load in any magazine hundreds of times each second, providing high-tech functionality even to weapons hundreds of years old.
MagCount replaces the bottom plate of any magazine and makes no changes to the firearm. It accurately counts and displays the number of rounds in the magazine – even when the magazine isn’t in the firearm. Through vibration or sound, it also provides a last shot warning.
No one should be surprised by that last round. Instead, MagCount makes for a smarter shooter who can monitor and anticipate ammo levels – at any time, in any situation.
MagCount. Because You Gotta Know.
